Motion Track: Video Stabilizer6.36 - App Store
You'll be able to see results in few seconds.
Publisher Description
Stabilize shaky video: lock a car, scooter or mountain bike dead still in frame, parked at a meet or flat out on the road. Then ramp the speed on a curve, boost it to 240FPS for slow motion, and finish with true optical-flow motion blur.
Motion Track is a full video editor built around motion - stabilization, tracking, speed, effects, captions, text and color - plus a photo editor and collage. All on-device. Your videos never leave your phone.
STABILIZE
- Stabilize - smooth out handheld shake in one tap, at a strength you can change any time. Never baked in, so quality survives
- Tripod locks the shot dead still, and Perspective mode fixes footage that skews and wobbles, not just shakes
- Auto Track - one tap steadies every clip in the project, then zooms each one in to hide the black edges
- Track Feature - tap any point on a car, scooter, bike or board and pin it dead still in frame
- Track 2 Points for position, rotation and scale, plus Manual Keyframes
- Zoom to Fill - stabilizing can leave black edges; one tap crops them away
AUTO CAPTIONS
- Auto Captions - transcribe a talking take on device. No network, no upload, no per-minute bill
- Classic, Word Pop, Karaoke Fill, Beast, Neon Glow - and the spoken word lights up as it is said
- 1 word, 2-3 words, one line or two, switched any time with no re-transcribe
EFFECTS
- Effects on a draggable lane - Shake, Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile and more
- Every effect has dials, and every dial takes keyframes
COLLAGE & SPLIT SCREEN
- Collage - 28 layouts, straight-edged and diagonal, and the cells take video, not just photos
- Drag a divider, pan and zoom inside a cell, set border, corners and ratio, then export it as one video
PHOTO EDITOR
- Edit Photo opens a still in the same editor - the filters, color wheels, curves, masks and Remove Background you use on video
TEXT & TITLES
- Presets across Basic, Bold, Glow, Retro and Cute, drawn over your own video as you type, not on a black screen
- Attach text, emoji, stickers and images to a moving subject and they follow it
SPEED & SLOW MOTION
- Speed Ramps on a Graph - every beat has Bezier handles, like After Effects
- Boost FPS - rebuild a clip at 60, 120 or 240FPS with AI frame interpolation
- Motion Blur - a true long-exposure look built on optical flow, so a turning bike smears
RIDE & DRIVE
- Blur License Plates - post street footage without giving away whose car it is
- Cut 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok out of a 16:9 action cam
LAYERS & OVERLAYS
- Video Overlays - a second angle over your POV shot, b-roll over the edit, with its own audio
- Remove BG - cut a background out on every frame, automatically or by brush
- Replace - swap a clip's footage and keep the edit around it: trim, look, effects, music
FILTERS & COLOR
- 72 Filters on six shelves - cinematic, portrait, vlog, film, B&W and car
- Masking - brighten, cool or darken only what a mask covers
- Color Wheels, RGB & HSL Curves, .cube LUTs and Log Conversion for Apple Log, Sony, Canon and DJI
- Keep Original Color - export HDR or Apple Log the way you shot it, ungraded 10-bit, out of a straight single-clip cut
MUSIC & TIMELINE
- Beats Panel - add music and mark its beats by ear or auto-detect them, then clip edges, effects and overlays snap to them
CAMERA
- Shoot in the app: lens chips, pinch zoom, focus, exposure and multi-take, plus Dual Camera and Reaction Cam
ALSO INSIDE
- Track Person, Blur Others, Green Screen, and an AI Enhancer that upscales to 4K
- Free Up Space - clear the duplicates and huge videos eating your storage
Car meet reel, scooter POV, MTB trail run, sports edit or dance fancam - one app, fast enough to post today.

A new engine end to end. It reads the shake more accurately, ignores whatever is moving through the frame while it measures, and smooths harder for the same amount of crop.
- Tripod — hold the shot dead still, as if the phone had been on a tripod
- The right strength is chosen for you when the screen opens, and you can hold the preview to compare it against your original
- The tool is called Stabilize now, not Anti-Shake, and the tracking lane says Track
TRACKING
A major upgrade underneath: your tracked point holds where you put it on every single frame — at 60FPS, under a speed ramp, and in projects that mix frame rates. Tracking is better than it has ever been.
KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL COLOR
Shot HDR or Apple Log and tired of it coming out flattened? Export it the way you shot it — 10-bit and ungraded, ready to grade in Resolve or Final Cut. It lives under Color in Export Settings, and it wants a straight cut: one clip, no overlays, effects or captions. Standard stays the default for everything you post.
Also new in the last update, if you skipped it:
- Auto Captions — your whole take transcribed on your phone, no network and nothing uploaded, with looks from Classic to Karaoke Fill to Neon Glow
- Auto Track — one tap steadies every clip in the project
- Trash — delete a project by mistake and it waits three days instead of being gone
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.27 Sep 4 AUTO CAPTIONS
Tap Captions and the whole take is transcribed — on your phone, with no network and nothing uploaded.
- Pick a look: Classic, Word Pop, Karaoke Fill, Bar, Beast, Two-Tone, Neon Glow
- The spoken word lights up as it is said — in colour, a filled box, a pop or an underline
- 1 word, 2-3 words, one line or two. Switch any time; it re-groups instantly and never transcribes twice
- Edit every line in one place, and replace a mis-heard name through the whole take at once
AUTO TRACK
One tap on the button beside the trackers lane and every clip in the project gets steadied, then zoomed in to hide the black edges stabilizing leaves behind. It automatically picks the spot to lock onto in each clip.
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.26 Aug 27 Edit Photo. The editor now opens a still, not just a clip. The same 72 filters, color wheels, RGB and HSL curves, masks and Remove Background you use on video, on one picture — plus crop, straighten, rotate, aspect ratios and backgrounds. Text stays sharp at the photo's own resolution, a cutout can save as a transparent PNG, and the export goes out at full resolution.
Text gets a Styles tab. Background, stroke, glow and shadow each get their own dials, and glow and shadow are independent now — so lettering can be neon and lift off the video at the same time. The composer previews on your actual footage instead of a dimmed copy of it.
Also new since 6.23, if you skipped last week's update:
- Effects, rebuilt — the lane went from eight of them to forty-one: Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile, Body Glow, each on a draggable range with its own dials, and every dial takes keyframes
- A rebuilt Text tool: a preset gallery on six shelves, in-and-out animations, and a caption bar measured against the one you already use
- Anti-Shake is the new name for the one-tap shake smoother. "Stabilize" is what everyone already calls Track Feature, and pointing both at the same word was sending people to the wrong tool
- A new camera: lens chips, pinch zoom, tap to focus, exposure, torch, countdown, multi-take, and stabilization modes named for what they cost you
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

Text, rebuilt too. You type over your video instead of over a black screen, with a new preset gallery on six shelves, in-and-out animations, and a caption bar measured against the one you already use.
Also in this update:
- Anti-Shake is the new name for the one-tap shake smoother. "Stabilize" is what everyone already calls Track Feature, and pointing both at the same word was sending people to the wrong tool
- Track Feature puts the box on your subject for you, so a first run is: open it, tap Track
- A new camera: lens chips, pinch zoom, tap to focus, exposure, torch, countdown, multi-take, and stabilization modes named for what they cost you
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.24 Aug 20 New: video overlays. Put a second video over your clip — a face cam over your POV shot, b-roll over the edit. It plays its own audio at a volume you set, and you can cut its background out so the subject floats over what's underneath.
Also in this update:
- Ease — one keyframe button now covers every kind of keyframe, with 16 easing curves and a custom one you drag yourself
- Flatten — render a clip's edits into its video in a tap, so you can ramp a clip that was already ramped
- Track Feature tells you whether the box you drew will actually track before you run it, and warns you when it has caught background instead of your subject
- Layer Order — bring an overlay forward or send it back
- More reliable export with bug fixes and performance improvement

Also in this update:

- Flatten — render a clip's edits into its video in a tap, so you can ramp a clip that was already ramped
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.22 Aug 12 New: Masking. Drop a Linear or Radial mask on your clip to darken a sky or make your subject pop, then drag it right on the canvas to place it — move, resize, rotate, soften.
Inside the mask: exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, saturation and a solid fill in any color. Stack as many as you want, invert any of them. Gradients and Vignette come back as one-tap versions of the same thing, and unlike before they hold still when the clip is stabilized.
Also in this update:
- Beat sync made easy: drag a clip edge, an effect or an overlay and it snaps to your beat marks
- Transitions no longer flash dark in the middle of a cut. Fade in and fade out are fixed too
- Background blur is one strength slider now, and fades take any duration you drag
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.21 Aug 6 Improved Motion Stabilizer, Speed Ramps with more controls, Frame Interpolation for any clips!
1. Pro Speed Ramps
- Every beat on the ramp now has Bezier handles, like a value graph in After Effects
- Drag the direction to set how steep the ramp is, drag the length to set how long it carries its momentum
- Break a handle to slam in fast and ease out slow — or the reverse
2. Motion Blur, rebuilt
- A true long-exposure look: we reconstruct the frames between your frames with optical flow and integrate them, the way desktop tools do — so a turning car smears along its arc instead of one straight streak
- Strength slider from a light blur to a long, cinematic exposure. Before/after compare on the result screen
- Runs on far more iPhones than the old engine, and handles portrait 4K directly
3. Boost FPS with AI
- Frame interpolation moved into the clip toolbar: rebuild a clip at 60, 120 or 240FPS and get genuinely fluid slow motion instead of stuttered frames
- It interpolates the source, so your trim, speed ramp, tracking and overlays are all preserved — your ramp simply re-samples footage that now has real in-between frames
- Offered automatically when a speed ramp drops a clip below 20 effective FPS
- Before/after preview, played slowed down so you can actually see the new frames
4. New Video Effects
- Eight effects: Shake, Hard Shake, Wobble, Zoom Pulse, RGB Glitch, Strobe, Ripple and Dreamy
- They live on their own timeline lane — drag the ends to set exactly when an effect starts and stops, and stack several at the same moment
- Tap an effect and it previews on the spot; Cancel removes it in one tap
5. Music Beats
- New panel: scrub the waveform, listen, and drop a beat mark exactly where you hear it
- Or auto-detect, with a Light-to-Intense density slider for how many beats you want
- Your hand-placed marks survive re-detection and switching auto off
- Playback keeps running while the panel is open, and beat marks are now clear orange dots
ALREADY IN MOTION TRACK
- Track Feature — tap any point on a moving car, bike or board and pin it dead still in frame
- Track 2 Points for rotation and scale, Track Surface for flat surfaces, plus manual keyframes when you want full control
- Background music with beat sync and Auto Sync, 4K AI upscaling, and full color grading with LUTs, curves and film emulation

Real optical-flow motion blur, stabilization with highest video quality, AE-style curve handles on speed ramps, and frame interpolation on any clip.
STABILIZE WITHOUT THE QUALITY LOSS
- Stabilize is now a setting, not a re-export. Three encodes became one, with no re-compression and no upscale from a cropped frame
- Change the strength or turn it off at any time — nothing is baked in
- Re-tracking, re-trimming or deleting a clip's tracking no longer invalidates it
SPEED RAMP CURVE HANDLES
- Every beat on the ramp now has Bezier handles, like a value graph in After Effects
- Drag the direction to set how steep the ramp is, drag the length to set how long it carries its momentum
- Break a handle to slam in fast and ease out slow — or the reverse
BOOST FPS ON ANY CLIP

- They live on their own timeline lane — drag the ends to set exactly when an effect starts and stops, and stack several at the same moment
- Tap an effect and it previews on the spot; Cancel removes it in one tap
BEATS PANEL FOR YOUR MUSIC

- Or auto-detect, with a Light-to-Intense density slider for how many beats you want
- Your hand-placed marks survive re-detection and switching auto off
- Playback keeps running while the panel is open, and beat marks are now clear orange dots
ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
- Pinch the timeline to zoom the time axis, anchored on the playhead
- Editor toolbar reorganized around eight top-level tools; Speed now groups Normal, Reverse, Speed Ramp and Boost FPS
- New Filters tool; Color Grading is now "Adjust", with Sharpen promoted to the front
- Fixed: stabilization and tracking data could be lost when the app updated
- Fixed: Smooth Motion exported black video on trimmed clips
- Fixed: the Export button could be pushed off screen on iPad in landscape
ALREADY IN MOTION TRACK
- Track Feature — tap any point on a moving car, bike or board and pin it dead still in frame

- Background music with beat sync and Auto Sync, 4K AI upscaling, and full color grading with LUTs, curves and film emulation
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.18 Jul 28 DANCE MODE IS HERE
Tap one dancer in a group video and get a clean, centered solo cut — automatically.
- Auto-Track a Person — the frame follows your subject on its own, no keyframing
- Blur Others — keep your dancer sharp and blur everyone else, so bystanders stay unrecognizable. Pick a person-shaped or rectangular sharp area, and dial in blur strength, margin, and edge softness
- Cover My Face — hide your own face behind a blur or an emoji that tracks your head as you move. ~100 emoji to choose from, or bring your own
- Match Person Size — the frame zooms in as you move away, so you stay the same size on screen the whole clip

ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
- Person tracking is dramatically faster and no longer runs out of memory on long videos
- Fixed a jump at the end of a pan when Position Smoothing was on
- Delete a bad stretch of tracking without redoing the whole clip
- Duplicate a clip in one tap
- Background music: per-segment volume and fades, trim handles, and a mute toggle
- Auto Sync Music — line your clip up to the song it was filmed to
- Show Beats — see the beat markers on the timeline and cut to them
- New text styles, fonts, and presets
ALREADY IN MOTION TRACK
- Lock-on stabilization for cars, bikes, and boards

- Track 2 Points for rotation and scale, Track Surface for flat surfaces, plus manual keyframes when you want full control
- Background music with beat sync and Auto Sync, 4K AI upscaling, and full color grading with LUTs, curves and film emulation
- Follow Smoothness — choose how tightly the camera hugs your movement

Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.25 Aug 22 Effects, rebuilt. The lane went from eight of them to forty-one — Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile, Body Glow — each on a draggable range with its own dials, and every dial takes keyframes. A Hook shelf puts the ones that land inside half a second first in the picker.

Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.25 Aug 22 Effects, rebuilt. The lane went from eight of them to forty-one — Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile, Body Glow — each on a draggable range with its own dials, and every dial takes keyframes. A Hook shelf puts the ones that land inside half a second first in the picker.

Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.19 Jul 30 MOTION BLUR, REBUILT — PLUS STABILIZE WITH NO QUALITY LOSS
Real optical-flow motion blur, stabilization with highest video quality, AE-style curve handles on speed ramps, and frame interpolation on any clip.

- New panel: scrub the waveform, listen, and drop a beat mark exactly where you hear it
- Or auto-detect, with a Light-to-Intense density slider for how many beats you want
- Your hand-placed marks survive re-detection and switching auto off
- Playback keeps running while the panel is open, and beat marks are now clear orange dots

- Frame interpolation moved into the clip toolbar: rebuild a clip at 60, 120 or 240FPS and get genuinely fluid slow motion instead of stuttered frames
- It interpolates the source, so your trim, speed ramp, tracking and overlays are all preserved — your ramp simply re-samples footage that now has real in-between frames
- Offered automatically when a speed ramp drops a clip below 20 effective FPS
- Before/after preview, played slowed down so you can actually see the new frames
VIDEO EFFECTS LANE
- Eight effects: Shake, Hard Shake, Wobble, Zoom Pulse, RGB Glitch, Strobe, Ripple and Dreamy
- They live on their own timeline lane — drag the ends to set exactly when an effect starts and stops, and stack several at the same moment
- Tap an effect and it previews on the spot; Cancel removes it in one tap

Version History UX improvement and bug fixes 6.28 3d ago STABILIZE, REBUILT
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.25 Aug 22 Effects, rebuilt. The lane went from eight of them to forty-one — Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile, Body Glow — each on a draggable range with its own dials, and every dial takes keyframes. A Hook shelf puts the ones that land inside half a second first in the picker.

- Your hand-placed marks survive re-detection and switching auto off
- Playback keeps running while the panel is open, and beat marks are now clear orange dots

version 6.27
posted on 2026-09-07
Version History STABILIZE, REBUILT
6.27 3d ago AUTO CAPTIONS
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.25 Aug 22 Effects, rebuilt. The lane went from eight of them to forty-one — Punch, Whip, Impact, Glitch, RGB Split, VHS, Motion Tile, Body Glow — each on a draggable range with its own dials, and every dial takes keyframes. A Hook shelf puts the ones that land inside half a second first in the picker.

- Follow Smoothness — choose how tightly the camera hugs your movement
ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
- Person tracking is dramatically faster and no longer runs out of memory on long videos
- Fixed a jump at the end of a pan when Position Smoothing was on
- Delete a bad stretch of tracking without redoing the whole clip
- Duplicate a clip in one tap
- Background music: per-segment volume and fades, trim handles, and a mute toggle
- Auto Sync Music — line your clip up to the song it was filmed to
- Show Beats — see the beat markers on the timeline and cut to them
- New text styles, fonts, and presets

- Drag the direction to set how steep the ramp is, drag the length to set how long it carries its momentum
- Break a handle to slam in fast and ease out slow — or the reverse
2. Motion Blur, rebuilt

Real optical-flow motion blur, stabilization with highest video quality, AE-style curve handles on speed ramps, and frame interpolation on any clip.
BEATS PANEL FOR YOUR MUSIC
- New panel: scrub the waveform, listen, and drop a beat mark exactly where you hear it
- Or auto-detect, with a Light-to-Intense density slider for how many beats you want
- Your hand-placed marks survive re-detection and switching auto off
- Playback keeps running while the panel is open, and beat marks are now clear orange dots
- Track 2 Points for rotation and scale, Track Surface for flat surfaces, plus manual keyframes when you want full control
- Background music with beat sync and Auto Sync, 4K AI upscaling, and full color grading with LUTs, curves and film emulation
Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. 6.18 Jul 28 DANCE MODE IS HERE
Tap one dancer in a group video and get a clean, centered solo cut — automatically.

- Cover My Face — hide your own face behind a blur or an emoji that tracks your head as you move. ~100 emoji to choose from, or bring your own
- Match Person Size — the frame zooms in as you move away, so you stay the same size on screen the whole clip
ALREADY IN MOTION TRACK
- Lock-on stabilization for cars, bikes, and boards

Version History New: Masking.
